Teaching about the concepts of reduce, reuse, recycle and rebuy helps students understand the concepts of renewable and non-renewable resources and the web of life. As a result, Tompkins County Solid Waste Management Division has partnered with Cornell Cooperative Extension to provide teachers with lesson plans that encompass all of these concepts.
